• Lanzarote considering cracking down on British tourists

    Spain's Lanzarote, popular for its beaches, volcanic scenery, and natural attractiveness, has said that they want ‘higher-quality' visitors who would spend more from now on. The island's new plan is to lessen its reliance on the British visitors and to lure tourists from other countries like Germany.
    This decision is indeed important, given that British tourists at the moment comprise as much as half of Lanzarote's visitors from abroad. However, the island is not the first in Spain to begin looking for quality rather than quantity.
