    Taco Bell plans to enter the fast-food chicken battle in 2021.
    "A lot of players out there are doing a great job, but... we will interrupt that with what we're going to do on chicken," Taco Bell's global chief food innovation officer Liz Matthews said.
    McDonald's and KFC are among the fast-food chains rolling out new chicken sandwiches in February.

    Taco Bell is bringing back potatoes.

    Taco Bell is bringing potatoes back to the menu on March 11, with the return of the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and the Spicy Potato Soft Taco.
    Potato lovers were furious when Taco Bell cut the menu items in 2020, as part of an effort to simplify the menu during the pandemic.
    Taco Bell's global chief food innovation officer Liz Matthews said she felt like she heard from "everybody in the entire country" complaining about the potatoes' disappearance.
