    The World Tourism Organization convened the Global Tourism Crisis Committee in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The committee was formed to bring together every part of the tourism sector as well as leading international institutions in order to create a united response to mitigate the impact of coronavirus on tourism and prepare the industry for recovery.

    Once the COVID-19 pandemic passes the Spanish government is working on a two-phase plan of reopening its country to activity and employment.
    The first phase for ‘productive sectors' will commence in summer,the second phase would be put into place from the end of the year and the final decision regarding the plan will be on the health authorities.
