• Convention Centre's Regattas another victim of pandemic pause

    Closed since lockdown in March 2020, the management of the Government-owned Adelaide Convention Centre has decided to remain closed its waterfront Regattas Restaurant, owing to uncertain conditions casted out-of the virus threat.
    The restaurant that underwent a remarkable refurbishment just two years ago has remained closed since March, due to the coronavirus restrictions imposed by the Adelaide Venue Management Corporation and it even reduced its 850 casual staff across the Centre, along with the Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.
