    According to a visualization of recent UNWTO data by HowMuch, a financial literacy and infographics agency, Thailand surpasses every other nation in Asia regarding tourism spend.
    Last year, Thailand collected $57 billion in international tourism receipts, nearly doubling Macao , Japan , Hong Kong , and China. Globally, the only countries that beat Thailand in terms of tourism dollars are France , Spain , and the United States, which practically takes the gold medal, at $211 billion.

    From 2015-2017, the wellness economy increased 6.4% annually, nearly twice as fast as global economic growth .
    Wellness expenditures are now more than half as large as total global health expenditures .
