• After two years, New Zealand reopens its borders to tourists

    Since March 2020, New Zealand has welcomed its first international tourists as part of the phased reopening decision of the government. Now, visitors from 60 visa-waiver countries like the US and UK, can enter after two years of close downs and the consequent implementation of some of the stringent contra pandemic protocols of the world.
    The first flights landed from Los Angeles and San Francisco, an emotional scene at Auckland airport, and arrivals were handed locally made chocolate bars.
